This position plays a vital role in supporting Aboriginal children, young people, families and carers engaged with Safeguards, while also strengthening the cultural responsiveness and safety of mental health services across the District. The role sits within a large, well established Aboriginal Mental Health team across South Western Sydney LHD, offering strong professional and cultural peer support.
As part of a growing network of Senior and Principal Aboriginal Health Workers, this position provides cultural leadership, guidance and support to Aboriginal Mental Health Workers across the Macarthur to Wingecarribee region, contributing to service development, community partnerships and improved outcomes for Aboriginal consumers and families.

You will receive regular clinical supervision within the role and have access to a supportive network of Occupational Therapists working across the Lower Mid North Coast. About You
The successful candidate will have acute inpatient hospital-based experience, including the ability to manage a complex acute inpatient caseload and work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex situations. You will be experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised, with a strong commitment to providing excellent, patient-focused care and outstanding communication skills. T his position supports Local Court Magistrate with the diversion of defendants who have or are suspected of having a mental illness, mental disorder or a cognitive impairment from the Criminal Justice System (Court and Correctional Centres) into the community.

Clinical Psychologist:
- Four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology; or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.

- Five years full time equivalent post registration clinical experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent in an acute mental health setting.

Requirements- Current medical practitioner, registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

The Kids Rehab department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead are seeking a Permanent 0.7 FTE (28 Hours per week) Staff Specialist to join their team.
What you'll be doing
Provide excellent clinical services to children and their families as part of a multi disciplinary team. The primary roles will be the AMO for children with movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and acquired injuries such as brain injuries in the Kids Rehab Services.
Participate in review and improvement activities, as well as training and education of staff.
Abide by the hospital code of conduct and participate in annual performance reviews for clinical services in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
The Staff Specialist will ensure that;
- Clinical Services are focused on delivering excellent clinical care to children and supporting their families.
- Research and teaching is undertaken and focused on the area of Rehabilitation.
- The Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine is appointed to provide specialist medical officer involvement in the interdisciplinary care and long term follow up of children and adolescents with complex rehabilitation needs, ensuring transition to adult based services where required, following onset of disability from trauma, disease or associated with congenital conditions. Provision of specialist paediatric rehabilitation care including inpatient subacute and ambulatory (day rehab and outpatient) rehabilitation services to patients of the Children's Hospital at Westmead and highly specialised care to statewide and interstate patients as needed with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. There is an expectation that the staff specialist will work collaboratively with other health professionals at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, within the SCHN and in the Community to facilitate access of children to specialty paediatric rehabilitation services and to improve outcomes of rehabilitation intervention for children with complex medical conditions with physical and other impairments causing functional difficulties in day to day living

About the role
Provide advanced clinical leadership to the community services intake function, ensuring timely, equitable and patient-centred access to care. Monitor, analyse and report on referral, waitlist and service activity data to identify trends, inform workforce planning and support continuous service improvement.

About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification

Ability to provide chronic respiratory input, health coaching and education to clients in multiple clinical settings including within their own homes

Join Port Macquarie Base Hospital as one of two Postgraduate Fellows in Orthopaedic Surgery for the 2027 clinical year, delivering high-quality surgical care within a supportive clinical network.
What you'll be doing
To provide and support the development of Orthopaedic Surgery services to the patients of Port Macquarie Base Hospital in support of the clinical services plan for the Clinical Network. This includes providing leadership in trauma and planned surgery, supervising and educating junior medical staff, and contributing to quality improvement and best practice patient care. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and support the department's ongoing development.

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you'll provide specialist Older Peoples Mental Health expertise to consumers with complex mental illness and ageing-related needs. You'll combine clinical leadership with partnership building, education and service improvement to help people achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Provide specialist assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, care planning and coordination for older people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Deliver intensive outreach and recovery-focused interventions to support PCLI/OPMH consumers to transition safely from hospital to community care.
Provide clinical supervision, consultancy, mentoring, education and training to strengthen contemporary mental health practice across teams and RACFs.
Lead and champion practice improvement, service development, quality initiatives, education, evaluation and research.
Collaborate with consumers, carers, multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to develop individualised care plans and connect people with the right services and supports.

Qualification: Bachelor degree or higher level
