The Opportunity

As an experienced Level 3 Social Worker, you will provide high-quality assessment, treatment and care coordination service to adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care, working closely with individuals on their recovery journey to help them achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing. You will play a key role within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, contributing to a psychosocial perspective to care for mental health consumers.

Your focus will include addressing psychosocial stressors, promoting family and cultural inclusion in care planning, and providing specialist input on matters related to family and domestic violence, as well as child protection. The aim of SUPPS is to provide coordinated, collaborative and client centered care to people who use substances and are pregnant and/or the parents of children under the age of 2. You'll combine direct clinical work with assessment, intervention, consultation, multidisciplinary collaboration, mentoring and discipline development activities.

Join the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS), a specialist service providing leadership, clinical care and capacity building across sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection. Working from Blacktown Community Health Centre, you will be part of a highly skilled and compassionate team dedicated to supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

• Work within a respected specialist service supporting violence, abuse and neglect portfolios
• Collaborate with counsellors, clinicians, forensic medical staff, police and community partners
• Be part of a supportive team that values reflective practice, cultural safety and collective care
