About the Role

The Clinical Director Adult Bed Based Mental Health provides clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective clinical services that meet relevant organisational, regulatory and accreditation standards. Working in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders, the role fosters strong internal and external collaborations. This includes other parts of the Mental Health and Addiction Medicine program as well as the SVHM Emergency Department and Inpatient wards. In partnership with the Operational Manager, lead the implementation of clinical program strategies, operational plans and service improvement initiatives across the Adult Inpatient programs. Lead relevant committees and working groups within the Mental Health program and ensure alignment with broader governance structures. Provide clinical supervision and line management for the Senior Medical Staff across the program in the AIS, CCU, PARC and the Consultation Liaison Service.
