We are seeking motivated veterinary graduates striving for excellence in equine practice to work in all areas of our hospital. Our interns play an integral role in the care of hospitalised patients, admission of emergencies and daily management of cases under supervision of our senior veterinarians.

• Veterinary degree and ability to register with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of Victoria
• English language competency in line with registration requirements
• Eligibility for Australian work visa if non-resident
• Excellent communication skills and effective team worker able to prioritise and follow well documented processes and procedures
• Prior student placement at equine hospitals within Australia or overseas

• Gain extensive experience of equine surgery, foal and adult medicine, lameness, diagnostic imaging, critical care and anaesthesia through involvement in a large and diverse caseload
• Supervised and supported by specialists and senior veterinarians for on call duties
• Structured and mentored internship program rotating through anaesthesia, medicine, and surgery
• Active involvement in the Group wide continued education
• Provided AVA / EVA memberships and funded CPD allowance
• Accommodation available if required
