• Develop and maintain operational study plans (milestones, enrollment projections, monitoring strategy, issue escalation pathways), track progress against timelines and budget, and proactively identify/mitigate risks to deliverables.
• Own monitoring resourcing planning (FTE/visit forecasts, CRA allocation, coverage models) and coordinate with monitoring leadership/CROs to ensure adequate capacity, continuity, and quality oversight across sites.
• Support inspection readiness and participate in audits/inspections by preparing study documentation, coordinating responses, facilitating interviews, and driving timely completion of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for study-related findings.
• Drive consistent project management and communication practices, including meeting cadences, status reporting, and lessons learned; collaborate effectively with a US-based global clinical team by planning across time zones and ensuring timely handoffs and stakeholder updates.

ABOUT YOU Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or related medical device or healthcare research roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading clinical studies and cross functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical research regulations, and quality systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including scientific and clinical documentation.

Desirable:

• Advanced degree ( Master's or PhD) in a scientific or clinical discipline (preferred).
• Experience within medical devices, orthopedics, or surgical products.

Royal North Shore Hospital Emergency Department is a busy tertiary service seeing 90,000 adult and paediatric patients annually and serving as a trauma centre and a state-wide burns and spinal referral hospital. Post Graduate Fellows have the opportunity to participate in a variety of models of care including short stay and fast track as well as take part in extensive teaching and research activities. The department has one of the largest and most successful Emergency Medicine training programs in NSW.

Purpose of the Position

The post graduate fellow does not fulfil the same duties as a specialist, it is a transition position between fellow medical practitioners into specialist roles via a short period of supervision. The post graduate fellow does not exercise independent clinical privileges and is supervised by a specialist medical officer at all times including periods of on-call. The level of supervision is commensurate to their level of experience.

Royal North Shore Hospital Emergency Department is a busy tertiary service seeing 90,000 adult and paediatric patients annually and serving as a trauma centre and a state-wide burns and spinal referral hospital. Post Graduate Fellows have the opportunity to participate in a variety of models of care including short stay and fast track as well as take part in extensive teaching and research activities. The department has one of the largest and most successful Emergency Medicine training programs in NSW.

Purpose of the Position

The post graduate fellow does not fulfil the same duties as a specialist, it is a transition position between fellow medical practitioners into specialist roles via a short period of supervision. The post graduate fellow does not exercise independent clinical privileges and is supervised by a specialist medical officer at all times including periods of on-call. The level of supervision is commensurate to their level of experience.

Staff Specialist - Paediatrics - Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital

Located on the land of Kamilaroi/Gomeroi/Gamillaray people, Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, with 282 beds is the largest healthcare facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolis.

Our Paediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Unit provides services to children in the New England, North West & Upper Hunter area and is the major referral centre for the northern sector of HNELHD. The Paediatric Unit has 18 beds with over 2600 admissions per year. Including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dental, gastroenterology, endocrinology, oncology and mental health admissions. Our Paediatric outpatient clinic sees an approximate of 5000 patients annually. Visiting subspecialty outreach clinics from JHCH include Paediatric Surgery, Endocrinology, Neurology, Brain Injury, Respiratory/CF, Haematology-oncology, Cleft palate, Immunology, Rehabilitation, Neonatal follow up, Cardiac and Out of Home Care. We boast a strong experienced community allied health team providing developmental assessments and specialty clinics.

Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital also provides Level 3 Neonatal Services, supporting newborns delivered at our Level 4 maternity service. The paediatric team attends all high-risk deliveries and provides neonatal resuscitation, stabilisation, and ongoing care for infants born 32 weeks' gestation or 1500 g, as well as initial resuscitation and stabilisation for infants born unexpectedly below these thresholds prior to NETS retrieval. Our Special Care Nursery provides short-term CPAP, phototherapy, glucose stabilisation, sepsis management, feeding and growth support, temperature regulation, and transition care for infants returning from tertiary units. Neonatal care consistently represents more than half of our inpatient workload, making it a central and defining component of the paediatrician role. The service maintains close partnership with NETS and John Hunter Children's Hospital, .
