What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Medical Practice Co-ordinator, you'll be an essential part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering medical, allied health, and primary health care services to the Mid-Eyre community. Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing front-of-house reception, patient bookings, and appointment scheduling with accuracy and care
• Providing timely administrative, clerical, and financial support to practitioners, management, and health unit committees
• Processing billing, Medicare claims, and financial transactions in line with SA Health policies
• Supporting staff and management with correspondence, record keeping, and reporting requirements

About the Role:

As a Midwife, you will provide nursing and midwifery services within a dynamic health service environment, supporting women and families through high-quality, safe care. You will build and consolidate your clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development while maintaining accountability for your own standards of care and delegated activities.

At the RN/M1 level, you will develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner, strengthening your capability through experience and continuous learning. Orthotic and Prosthetics (O&P)

Based at Whyalla Hospital, our Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) Department provides personalised support for custom braces and artificial limbs. As the only O&P service located outside metropolitan South Australia, we proudly deliver care across regional centres including Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, and Port Pirie. We support clients during hospital stays in Whyalla and those attending appointments for rehabilitation and temporary prosthetic care. Our team also works closely with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to provide ongoing care and partners with podiatrists to assist clients with high-risk feet in Whyalla and Port Augusta. About the Role:

Step into a Senior Podiatrist role where your expertise and leadership will shape high-quality, community-focused services across the Flinders Upper North Regional Health Service and rural and remote South Australia. About the Role:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in delivering person-centred care that aligns with regulatory and statutory requirements. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will contribute to the provision of safe and effective nursing care within the healthcare team. In this role, you will develop your practice from a novice to a proficient Enrolled Nurse while remaining accountable for your own actions and responsibilities in providing nursing care.

About You:

• Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
