We have an opportunity for a Paediatric Registrar (Unaccredited or RACP Advanced Trainee) to join our team from November 2026 for 3 months, working in General Paediatrics at Western Health. Our Children's Ward cares for inpatients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, admitting approximately 5,000 children per year. There are approximately 30,000 Paediatric Emergency presentations per year, and General Paediatrics works closely with the team in the Paediatric Emergency department. There is a busy General Paediatric Outpatient unit, and trainees get plenty of (well-supported) experience in our clinics. There are also a number of paediatric subspecialty outpatient services including cardiology, allergy, adolescent medicine, dermatology and endocrinology.

We offer an active education program and ample opportunities to be involved in quality and safety, audits and research.
