The Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment is a transformative $190.3 million investment by the Western Australian Government, marking the hospital’s most significant upgrade since the early 2000s. The project aims to futureproof healthcare in the Mid-West region by expanding and modernising the existing facilities.

Key features the redevelopment of Geraldton Health Campus in the Midwest will deliver:

• an expanded emergency department (ED).
• a combined new intensive care unit / high dependency unit (ICU).
• a new integrated mental health service inclusive of an adult Acute Psychiatric Unit (APU) and a mental health short stay unit.

• ICU Resident Medical Officer – MP Year 1-3 $99,395 - $119,165 p/a
• ICU Registrar - MP Year 1-7 $125,010 - $170,682 p/a
• ICU Consultant Intensivist – MP Year 1-9 $333,305- $432,658 p/a

The types of vacancies that may arise include:

• Permanent contracts
• Secondment/ Placement or Transfer opportunities at Level (if current public sector officer).
• Short Term Contracts – fixed term employment under twelve months.
• Both part-time and full-time options are available for all of these.
