Raven's Recruitment is seeking a pharmacist to work as the sole pharmacis t in a community setting in Far North Queensland. The role involves leading a small team, dispensing with MINFOS, and counselling customers. Methadone and Cannabis dispensing may be included and vaccination duties if accredited.

The position requires registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and prior sole-pharmacist experience. Training is provided for Cannabis dispensing where needed.

Vibrant, tropical town located in Far North Queensland approx 90 km south of Cairns. Store is located within the CBD shopping district, close to amenities such as chain stores, supermarkets and food outlets.

ideally one locum who can work the full four weeks at this time, unless a local who will not require travel.

Monday 28th September to Saturday 3rd October.
Monday 5th October to Saturday 10th October.
Monday 12th October to Saturday 17th October.
Monday 19th October to Saturday 24th October.

Weekdays 8-5:30 weekdays no break. Saturday 8am to 1pm no break.

As the sole pharmacist you will be leading a small team using Minfos to dispense. You must enjoy community pharmacy and customer counselling. You will have some Webster checks to pack and check, as well as Cannabis dispensing (If no exp will be trained) and Methadone. If accredited to vaccinate this will also form part of your duties.
