About the opportunityA vacancy exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Officer in the Histology section of the NSW Health Pathology Anatomical Pathology Laboratory at Liverpool Hospital. What you'll be doing
To ensure the efficiency of the department is maintained, in association with departmental SSOs (if available), daily completion of room stock take is to be performed, including examination room preparation, maintenance of consumables, and assistance for manual handling tasks.
The position must participate with patient throughput, patient care and patient scheduling. Included within this definition is overall Quality Assurance, organisation, activities and adherence to the standards within the Vascular Ultrasound Unit; participating in implementation of existing and new techniques, adherence to protocols, scheduling and training and ensuring all resources are used in the most effective manner.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography or Applied Science and a relevant post graduate diploma with current AHPRA registration and EPA Licence or ASAR accredited Medical Sonographer with a post graduate degree in Sonography.
- Current or recent demonstrated experience in vascular ultrasound in a tertiary hospital.

Provide a high quality, evidenced based clinical service to inpatients with complex needs and their families / carers

Provide support to less experienced staff and students

You will have access to orientation based on your background and level of experience as well as a range of supportive clinical specialists. You will receive regular clinical supervision within the role and have access to a supportive network of Occupational Therapists working across the Lower Mid North Coast. Education and training opportunities will be identified and agreed as part of performance development discussions.
About You
The successful candidate will have acute inpatient hospital-based experience, including the ability to manage a complex acute inpatient caseload and work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex situations. You will be experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised, with a strong commitment to providing excellent, patient-focused care and outstanding communication skills. You will also have a demonstrated ability to lead the planning and evaluation of team activities, as well as meet the supervision needs of students and less experienced staff.

The Kids Rehab department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead are seeking a Permanent 0.7 FTE (28 Hours per week) Staff Specialist to join their team.
What you'll be doing
Provide excellent clinical services to children and their families as part of a multi disciplinary team. The primary roles will be the AMO for children with movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and acquired injuries such as brain injuries in the Kids Rehab Services.
Participate in review and improvement activities, as well as training and education of staff.
Abide by the hospital code of conduct and participate in annual performance reviews for clinical services in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
The Staff Specialist will ensure that;
- Clinical Services are focused on delivering excellent clinical care to children and supporting their families.
- Research and teaching is undertaken and focused on the area of Rehabilitation.
- The Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine is appointed to provide specialist medical officer involvement in the interdisciplinary care and long term follow up of children and adolescents with complex rehabilitation needs, ensuring transition to adult based services where required, following onset of disability from trauma, disease or associated with congenital conditions. Provision of specialist paediatric rehabilitation care including inpatient subacute and ambulatory (day rehab and outpatient) rehabilitation services to patients of the Children's Hospital at Westmead and highly specialised care to statewide and interstate patients as needed with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. There is an expectation that the staff specialist will work collaboratively with other health professionals at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, within the SCHN and in the Community to facilitate access of children to specialty paediatric rehabilitation services and to improve outcomes of rehabilitation intervention for children with complex medical conditions with physical and other impairments causing functional difficulties in day to day living

The St Vincent's Hospital Addiction Medicine Specialist position provides clinical leadership, supports specialty training, and promotes patient safety and quality across the Service, Drug Health, the Stream, and the Hospital.
The position proactively seeks to drive cross-service and cross-speciality expert care and training within and without the hospital.
The position provides specialist clinical care as part of a multidisciplinary team which may be in inpatient, outpatient and hospital liaison services.
The position also provides state-wide clinical care and leadership into the ADS Telehealth Service, the Service's telephony lines (Drug and Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service), and drives the Service's Collaborative Care approaches through leadership of outpatient services and liaison with internal and external providers.

We are seeking an experienced medical specialist to provide high quality care with a multidisciplinary team to patients in a Hospital in the Home (HITH) program. The position provides expert medical management including but not limited to admissions, consultations, diagnostics, and minor procedures, in outpatient, communiity and virtualcare settings. The specialist works within the fthe Liverpool HITH/Ambulatory Care services. The Ambulatory Care service includes responsibilities in the High Rsk Foot Clinic, the Procedures, Investigations and Infusions (PIXI ) unit and the Wound Clinic. Particiaption in an after-hours on-call roster is expected.

About the role
Provide advanced clinical leadership to the community services intake function, ensuring timely, equitable and patient-centred access to care. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders, you will coordinate referrals, clinical triage and service access while supporting quality outcomes and operational efficiency.
Lead the centralised intake function, coordinating the referral, clinical triage, prioritisation and allocation of referrals to ensure timely access to community-based services.
Manage service demand and waitlists by monitoring referral activity, prioritising care needs and reduce waiting times and optimise service capacity.
Provide expert clinical leadership and decision-making, ensuring referrals are assessed and allocated in accordance with clinical need, service criteria and best practice standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referrers, general practitioners, hospitals and community providers to facilitate coordinated, seamless and patient-centred care.
Monitor, analyse and report on referral, waitlist and service activity data to identify trends, inform workforce planning and support continuous service improvement.
Practice with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, demonstrating advanced nursing expertise, leadership and delegation in accordance with professional standards and organisational requirements.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification
Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level
Ability to provide chronic respiratory input, health coaching and education to clients in multiple clinical settings including within their own homes
Previous experience providing assessment and treatment to patients with chronic heart failure or experience managing patients with a cardiac background
