The successful candidates will work in a multidisciplinary team setting to provide the clinical leadership and vision needed to develop a strong recovery orientated practice in the care of older adults living with mental illness, including behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Patients are referred from a variety of sources including the OAMHWS triage service, medical and surgical wards, residential care services, and emergency departments. Monash Health is committed to providing high quality of care to its patients in the program and this position would meet demands in the rapidly growing south east region of Melbourne. There is excellent peer support and professional development opportunities, and Monash Health encourages service leadership through a dual governance model.
