POSITION PROFILEIf you have an interest in providing anaesthetics as part of your rural or remote medical practice, then this post will provide experience and training requirements that enable the successful candidate to become accredited as Rural Generalist Anaesthetist. This post has been accredited by ANZCA to complete the AC-RGA.
This role will involve working in the Busselton Health Campus Anaesthetics for 6 months, and Bunbury Hospital Anaesthetics for 6 months in order to achieve the AC-RGA. There is also the possibility of further anaesthetic time to consolidate your learning or 6 months in the Bunbury ICU to increase your critical care experience subject to availability. Between these 2 sites the successful candidate will gain great exposure to all relevant areas of anaesthetic practice, including Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, General Surgery, and many more.
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to rural or remote medicine. You will work alongside 16 Consultants and 3 Registrars and there is ample opportunity to gain good quality and quantity of anaesthetic volume of practice. To go along with this, the successful applicant needs to be well motivated, organised and adaptable to working in a flexible role.
Essential- Must be a fellow or enrolled in training with RACGP or ACRRM.
- Must have demonstrated a clear commitment to rural and remote medicine.

The Hospital has a busy Emergency Department, an 8 bed ICU, General Surgical Unit, Orthopaedic Surgery, Urological Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Psychiatric Unit.

What you'll be doing
As a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Neurologist, you will provide expert, patient-centred neurological services across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions. Working across inpatient, outpatient and community-based settings, you will play a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while supporting continuity of treatment for patients throughout the region. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to clinical leadership, multidisciplinary care, service development, quality improvement and research initiatives. You will also support the development of the future medical workforce through the supervision, teaching and mentoring of junior medical staff, medical students and other healthcare professionals. This role is ideally suited to a specialist neurologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within a progressive regional health service while enjoying professional autonomy and a diverse clinical caseload. Here's what you'll need
To succeed in this role, you will bring
- Listed as a Victorian Heritage Advisor, with the qualifications and experience required to lead CHMPs and supervise fieldwork in accordance with the Minister's Guidelines
- An Honours or postgraduate degree in archaeology, heritage management, or a related discipline
- Around 7+ years' consulting experience, with a strong focus on Aboriginal heritage in Victoria (additional experience outside Victoria and/or in historical heritage is advantageous)

An exciting opportunity exists for subspecialist Diagnostic Radiologists to join the high performing Department of Radiology at Westmead Hospital, a major tertiary and quaternary referral centre in NSW.
The Department of Radiology at Westmead Hospital is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with a strong focus on a positive, engaged, and forward looking department. Delivering a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services across Western Sydney Local Health District, the department supports complex acute and subspecialty clinical care within one of Australia's busiest tertiary environments.

This appointment is for the remainder of the current Quinquennium, ending 30 June 2027.
The Role:- Deliver high quality diagnostic imaging in a busy tertiary environment
- Participate in image triage, reporting, supervision, and on call services
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team

Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Public Hospitals (Visiting Medical Officers Sessional Contracts) Determination 2014.
Selection Criteria- 1. Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent as provided for in the Health Insurance Act 1997. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency alternatively have an Australian working visa.
- 2. Must hold a current NSW Environment Protection Authority license.
- 3. Sound clinical knowledge in diagnostic radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
- 4. Demonstrate high level interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- 5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision of junior trainees and medical students, and familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support clinical research within the Department.
- 6. Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
- 7. Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner.

In this role, you will lead a team of Caseworkers and Casework Support Workers to deliver impactful, child centred practice.
What You'll DoAs a Manager Casework in a CSC, you will lead the coordination of daily priorities and resource allocation, supporting Caseworkers and Casework Support Workers to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed practice that promotes the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people, and families. You will apply your knowledge of best practice casework to drive consistent, high-quality service delivery through quality assurance, continuous improvement, and the implementation of practice reform. Reflective practice, professional learning, and a commitment to improving outcomes will be central to your leadership approach.
Your Day-to-day Duties May Include- Practising effective group and individual supervision,
- Leading practice and practice change, reform and implementation through feedback, quality assurance processes, mentoring and other practice support assistance.
- Quality assurance of information and records for children and young people to ensure practice aligns with the standards of the Office of the Children's Guardian.
- Preparation and review of legal documentation, briefings and correspondence ensuring responses are accurate, meet deadlines and are of a consistently high standard.
- Initiate court proceedings as the official applicant and model litigant.
- Provide instruction, support, and guidance to Caseworkers in all court matters, including the Children's Court, and where required, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA), District, and Supreme Courts.
- Managing and supporting staff with time frames, work allocation and performance management when required.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and foster collaboration across the agency and with community, government and non government partners - including Grandmothers Against Removal (GMAR), Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), and Aboriginal Community Controlled Mechanisms (ACCMs) - to strengthen consultation, partnerships, and outcomes for children, young people, and families.
- Contributing to operational and policy issues and change management strategies in support of agency goals and objectives.
- Engage in consultation with senior leaders and executives to determine appropriate courses of action in matters that are sensitive, high-risk, or critical to business operations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Welfare or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in applying best practice casework with children, young people and their families.
- Experience leading and managing teams in complex and challenging situations, including a high-volume work area.
- A demonstrated understanding of trauma informed care and the impact poverty, trauma and violence have on children and their families.
- A valid driver's licence, as travel is a requirement of the role.

About Monash Neurology
Monash Neurology is one of the largest provider of neurology patient care in Victoria and a state-wide designated endovascular clot retrieval centre. This unit sees over 2000 patients a year with a significant number of stroke patients. We have two concurrent stroke teams along with a neurology ward team and three consultation teams (Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, and Casey Hospital). There is ample opportunity to rotate through various fields of neurology such as acute stroke management, multiple sclerosis, neurophysiology, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-degenerative diseases, neuro-otology, headache, and chronic neurology. Monash neurology also provide a large ambulatory services with a large number of EEG and EMG being performed providing excellent training opportunities. Monash Neurology is also world renowned for its research and subsequent publications.
About the Role
There are 2.5 unaccredited neurology registrar positions available in 2027. This is supported by six core neurology advanced trainees. This will involve registrars rotating through stroke, neurology and consults. Trainees will be part of the call roster so will have vast clinical experience as well as ample research opportunities. There is also a strong focus on teaching.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Chief Cardiac Physiologist provides senior clinical, operational and professional leadership to the Cardiac Diagnostics team within the Cardiology Department. The role is responsible for overseeing delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, ensuring clinical excellence, compliance with professional standards and continuous service development in a regional health setting. Working collaboratively with cardiologists, nursing leaders and multidisciplinary teams, the Chief Cardiac Physiologist supports advanced diagnostic services, workforce capability, innovation and quality improvement, while contributing to the delivery of critical acute cardiac services including ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care.
Working Together We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health serviceThe role of the Chief Cardiac Physiologist is to:
- Oversee the delivery of high quality cardiac diagnostic services, including ECG, Holter monitoring, exercise stress testing, echocardiography, and pacemaker/ICD clinics, ensuring adherence to professional standards and Medicare billing requirements.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership to cardiac physiologists and cardiac sonographers, supporting workforce planning, recruitment, education and ongoing professional development.
- Drive service development, innovation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance cardiac diagnostic and interventional services across the organisation.
- Support the delivery of acute cardiac services by working closely with the Cath Lab NUM, including implementation of STEMI protocols, emergency response workflows and equipment management.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, infection control, workplace safety, regulatory and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, emergency services and regional referral hospitals to optimise patient outcomes and facilitate timely transfers for acute cardiac presentations.
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Cardiac Physiology, Medical Science or a related field, with current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body.
- Extensive experience in cardiac diagnostics, including echocardiography, stress testing, pacemaker/ICD clinics and advanced cardiac technologies.
- Proven leadership and management experience within a healthcare setting, with the ability to support staff wellbeing, performance and professional growth.
- Demonstrated expertise managing or supporting a Coronary Catheterisation Laboratory and leading STEMI services, including emergency response coordination.
- Strong commitment to quality improvement, innovation, ongoing professional development and adapting practice within a regional healthcare environment.
