Role is based in a 25-30 bedded rehabilitation unit focusing on general rehab with no acute traumatic brain or spinal cord injury cases. Responsibilities include supervising one trainee registrar and two HMOs, conducting ward rounds, attending short daily morning meetings, and participating in team meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:30. The specialist will also assess referrals for rehab admission suitability and attend family meetings.

Roster: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
Duties include supervision of junior staff, medication administration, documentation, inpatient cover, and outpatient clinics.
The service is a specialised mental health service for children and young people (0-18 years) and their families. The consultant has registrar, junior doctor, and multi-disciplinary team support.
