Desired Skills and Experience

What you will bring!

You will bring your patient and empathetic nature alongside experience in delivering person centred, trauma informed services that are culturally appropriate. To be successful you will possess:

• Applicants must be qualified mental health professionals who hold current registration, accreditation, credentialing, or recognition with the relevant Australian professional body and have experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and diagnosed mental health disorders. This may include: Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, Provisionally Registered Psychologist (working under the required supervision arrangements), Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker and Aboriginal Health Professional.
• Demonstrated expertise in supporting people with complex mental health issues, including conducting assessments, safety planning, and managing care coordination.
• Strong abilities in leading clinical assessments and crafting tailored care plans.
• Experience in overseeing multidisciplinary teams and working collaboratively with community health and service partners.
• Prior leadership experience in clinical governance, quality assurance, and supervising staff is highly desirable.
• Show flexibility to work in regional or remote environments, with a strong commitment to cultural sensitivity, equity, and inclusion.

The successful candidate must possess a current WA Working with Children Check and a WA Driver's License.Additionally, the role requires a current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance. Remuneration and benefits

• Salary starting from $135,435per annum (inclusive of 10% remote localities allowance)+ 12% super
• Tax-free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum
• Rent subsidy up to $350 per week and electricity allowance up to $1000 per annum available (eligibility criteria apply)
• Additional 8days of annual leave per year
• Access to purchase leave
