Locum Surgical Registrar required for various day and afternoon shifts at a Northern NSW Referral Hospital from August 2026 to January 2027.

Consolidated shifts:
- 10 Aug to 15 Nov 2026: Day shifts (07:00 - 15:30) at $180/hr, with some on-call shifts.
- 16 Nov 2026 to 12 Jan 2027: Afternoon shifts (15:00 - 23:00) at $170/hr.

The rate is $180.00/hour

• 28 Surgical Beds
• Shift times: 0700-1530 / 0700-2100 / on-call
• Staffing levels for each shift time: 4FTE Registrars, 5FTE JMOs, TRRH only has VMO General Surgeons who attend daily to the hospital for rounds and Theatres. ; Surgeons share on-call; egistrars share the on-call and weekends and ED and Theatres will ring the Registrar after hours in the first instance to review patients in ED or preparing patient for Emergency Operations. Registrar will need to contact the Surgeon on-call when they have assessed the patient.
