An exciting opportunity exists for an emerging leader to explore and develop their skills, or an experienced leader to support a well established team. The Occupational therapy team of BDH is a close knit team that shares a passion for patient centred care, evidence based service delivery and community care. You will be leading and supporting the team of 6 to deliver services to the inpatient, community palliative and aged care patient populations

Selection CriteriaTo help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated professional and operational leadership experience, including demonstrated understanding and experience of service provision in complex health settings.
  • Demonstrated high level clinical and advanced practice skills in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention and expertise in clinical leadership and supervision.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with the ability to prioritise ad manage competing demands, monitor performance, problem solve and utilise independent professional judgement.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
