Sonic HealthPlus Mount Isa has a 3-month Locum opportunity available for doctors with an interest in Occupational Medicine to join our GP Super Clinic. SHP holds the contract with Glencore, which involves running the medical centre at the minesite and the GP Super Clinic in the town centre.

• Support from nursing, operations, administration, property and IT teams.

Requirements:

• Full registration with AHPRA
• Current RSHQ approval to conduct medical assessments under the Queensland Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme
• Current Authorised Health Professional (AHP) status under the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers (2024)
• Demonstrated experience conducting Queensland Coal Mine/RSHQ Medicals and Rail Safety Worker Medicals
• Eligibility to access Medicare
