Step into a pivotal leadership role within one of NSW's busiest and most dynamic Emergency Departments. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) in Triage, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, timely and high-quality care for patients from the moment they arrive. Working within Campbelltown Hospital's Emergency Department, you will provide contemporary clinical leadership, coordinate patient flow, support frontline staff, and drive excellence in emergency care delivery.

You will work closely with nursing, medical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure resources are effectively allocated, clinical risks are proactively managed, and emergency department performance targets are met.

Are You the Right Fit?
You are an experienced and confident Registered Nurse with a passion for emergency nursing, clinical leadership and delivering exceptional patient-centred care. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can make sound clinical decisions under pressure, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Extensive Emergency Department and triage experience with a strong understanding of patient flow and emergency care processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate care delivery in real time within a busy clinical environment.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and support nursing staff.
  • Strong clinical judgement and the ability to identify, elevate and manage clinical risks effectively.
  • A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Knowledge of emergency department performance indicators, service improvement initiatives and contemporary best practice.
  • A proactive, resilient and adaptable leadership style that supports staff engagement and a positive workplace culture.
