About the Facility

Carmel Aged Care is a 120 bed, purpose built facility in the Perth Hills suburb of Carmel, set among natural bushland about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD.
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our aged care team at Carmel Aged Care, in a (full time) capacity.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and operational oversight within our aged care facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care, while supporting and developing the clinical and care teams.

This is a dynamic leadership role suited to an experienced nurse who thrives on responsibility, team development, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations within the facility
• Lead, mentor, and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and care staff
• Ensure care delivery meets clinical standards, regulations, and organisational policies
• Oversee complex care planning, assessments, and clinical decision making
• Monitor resident outcomes and respond effectively to changes in condition
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals, residents, and families
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance practices
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with aged care standards
• Support staff rostering, workload allocation, and workforce capability development

What You Will Bring

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• Significant experience in aged care or acute clinical leadership roles
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Sound knowledge of aged care quality standards, compliance, and clinical governance
• Ability to manage complex clinical and operational priorities
• A calm, decisive, and solutions focused approach
• Experience in mentoring and developing clinical teams
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
