Clinical Nurse Consultant - Emergency Department Wyong
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join the Emergency Department in Wyong.
About the Role
In this senior clinical role, you will provide expert nursing advice, clinical leadership and support to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote best-practice emergency nursing, support clinical decision-making and contribute to service improvement.
The role will involve mentoring and supporting nursing staff, facilitating education and professional development, monitoring clinical standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives across the Emergency Department.

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field of Emergency Nursing and approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the specialty field of Emergency Nursing or other such qualifications or experience deemed appropriate and hold a current NSW Drivers licence.
- Demonstrated experience utilising knowledge and advanced nursing skills in the assessment, care planning and provision of safe clinical care for patients with needs related to Emergency nursing.
Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
