A South Eastern QLD corporate health provider requires a Junior Medical Officer in Allergy

Standby Doctor role for a Radiology company based in Loganholme
Doctor is there in case of any allergic reactions to contrast dye (which is rare)
Can bring book or laptop along as on standby

Friday 2 Oct 1200 - 1700

$100 an hour and $50 per shift travel allowance
Recent ALS/BLS is required

Identification of patient deterioration is a shared team responsibility.
● If a patient's condition worsens or they show signs of distress, the supervising contrast doctor must be contacted immediately.
● Allergic Reactions: Moderate to severe allergic reactions (shortness of breath, hives, sneezing, rashes, itchy skin)
— contact the supervising doctor without delay and create a medical alert in Karisma.
● Anaphylaxis: The supervising contrast doctor must be informed immediately to facilitate rapid intervention
