A Central WA hospital requires a Specialist in Paediatrics from 20/04/2026 to 31/07/2026.

Commencement Immediate for a 3-month period (open to negotiation)
Full time or part time available
Hours 0800 – 1630 – 8 hour days with a 30 minute lunch break – Monday - Friday

Paediatrician to provide developmental assessments for children up to the age of 16 years. This may include assessments for autism spectrum disorders, foetal alcohol syndrome, attentional disorders, global developmental delay, and genetic causes of developmental delay.
• Provide ongoing management and care for children with various developmental disorders including medication review and recommendations.
• Clinical reporting and liaison with GP’s and other providers.
• Working in a supportive multidisciplinary team, including child development allied health and clinical nurse specialists.

Between $2,700 - $2,900 depending on experience & qualification

• Located in the Wheatbelt region of WA, this town is home to a diverse range of tourist and heritage attractions and has approximately 12,193 residents
• This hospital is equipped with 28 acute inpatients beds, 12 sub-acute inpatient beds and 22 same day beds
• Fuel reimbursed at 0.88 cents per KM from the doctor’s home to hospital, return (within WA), hospital meals and accommodation provided
