Join our Hospital in the Home team based at Newcastle Community Health Centre ,

where you'll provide hospital-level care to patients in their own homes.

This temporary opportunity offers the chance to build valuable experience in a highly specialised area of nursing, with thepossibility of extension .

This isn't a role where every hour is scheduled for you. You'll be allocated a daily patient workload, then have the flexibility and professional autonomy to plan the most effective route, prioritise your visits, and structure your day.

A day in the life:

Deliver high-acuity hospital care in patients' homes

Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and clinical observations

Administer medications, provide wound care and collect pathology

Support chronic disease management and patient education

Liaise closely with HITH medical officers, GPs and the multidisciplinary team

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is confident working independently and passionate about advocating for patients.

You'll be someone who:

Thinks critically and assesses situations with confidence

Manages competing priorities with strong organisational skills

A background in Emergency, Critical Care or Hospital in the Home is highly regarded.
