Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicatedStaff Specialist in Rheumatology at Canterbury Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role of Staff Specialist in Rheumatology is to provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Rheumatology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Department of General Medicine and Canterbury Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The position will be available from January 2027.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Rheumatology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
